Amy Nyeholt serves as the current Chair of the Standing Committee on Affiliates of NCTE. As a committed advocate for literacy and literacy educators, she is also actively engaged with the Pennsylvania Council of Teachers of English and Language Arts and is currently serving as Past President as well as doing advocacy work within her state. She is the Assistant Director of Curriculum at the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School and lives in the Pittsburgh area with her husband and son Henry. Amy is driven by a genuine love for meaningful connections with students and fellow educators alike.
