📢 Extended Deadline for the NCTE High School Teacher of Excellence Award!

The NCTE Secondary Section is proud to recognize and celebrate exceptional high school classroom teachers. As an affiliate of NCTE, VATE will select one teacher to represent our state at the national convention.

📌 Eligibility: High school teachers (grades 9-12)
📌 Self-nominations welcome!

🏆 Award Details:

• Purpose: To honor outstanding high school teachers and showcase their contributions to education.
• Application Process:
  • Complete the application form
  • Submit your resume, a letter of interest, and 2 letters of support

🎉 Recognition:

• VATE: Recipient will be recognized at VATE’s annual conference and receive a certificate. Up to $500 may be awarded to support travel to the NCTE annual convention.
• NCTE: Honorees will be recognized at the Secondary Section Luncheon during the NCTE Annual Convention, receiving a certificate and a reserved seat at the event.
