Daniel Woods received his PhD from Virginia Tech majoring in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on English Education. Before pursuing his PhD, Daniel taught middle and high school English in Roanoke City and Montgomery County. He earned M.A.Ed. from Virginia Tech, as well as a BS and MA in English from Radford University. His research interests include teacher education, critical literacy, and social justice. As of August 2011 he will be an Assistant Professor of English Education at Radford University.
